The ground breaking work of Eno/Byrnes' MY LIFE IN THE BUSH OF GHOSTS is a strong influence on several elements of this california based project. So too Gorillaz,the clash and Floyd. Besides the interesting mix of media influenced electronica there are an array of impassioned styles on display.
This is a debut well worth checking out !

This ablum is absolutely great, a really fantastic mix.

I find the blend of styles on this ablum fantastic, from the twang of the zydeco/bluegrass mixed into Last Outlaw to the eclectic sound of Hydrate Africa. I love them all. I think the ones that stand out most for me though are Brain, Careful Baby, and Last Outlaw. I can only hope that their next ablum is as good as this one.

Delicious mix of industrial, electronica and thousand other genbres

If theres an album that crosses as many genres as this project delivers from a mere basement in Los Angeles I'd like to hear it. Favourites tracks so far are Ambu$hed,Full Frequency and the sexy groovin All People. The hilarious sunny beats of Last Outlaw will put a smile on your face. Politics play a big part of this groups vibe and the track CHARGE boils with intensity and surging power. I hope the Whithouse buys this record. This band are a great discovery. Perfect for the sound system on the real Air Force One !
