Album Notes

Founded in November 1997 by Roger and Phil, after Roger quit his band Colum R and Phil, singer of the famous Swiss synth-pop band Carpe Diem, who wanted to play in an acoustic band. As a duo they began to write songs, performed with guitars, keyboards and sequencer and, which will be the trademark of the band, two lead vocals. The demo recordings for AIXAMPLES in the own studio and a first concert showed that something was missing, something which is unavoidable in every ‘real’ independent rockband. In 1999, this lack was remedied with Stephan, an old-routined and talented drummer. Because the band didn’t want to make the trio to a quartet, Phil decided to take the place of the bass player.
