A J A is an experiment in sound...I am basically trying out different musicians, different genres so that I can create what I consider to be \"Jazz\"...although I know that \"YAYA\" to your ears will sound like funky-soul, to mine it sounds like jazz...I play with two very fine musicians in this album, Akim on bass and Rey Conga on percussion, and of course, I, PrudenceMyDerar, on guitar and vocals...and I think that we have created a fine example of soulful, funky jazz, which is really world beat with interesting poetry...you can email me at DearPrudenceAJA@aol.com ...and I hope you understand that jazz is the beat, which is clearly prevalent in \"YAYA\" as well as the improvisation and then the artistry...the songs were all recorded live at Wavework studios in North Miami, FL VIVE LE JAZZ!
