Album Notes

Alaina was born in St. Louis Park, MN. At the age of four, her family relocated to Topeka, KS. Alaina earned a BA degree in Contemporary Music with a Minor in Spanish from the College of Santa Fe in New Mexico. Immediately after college, she was cast in the national tour of "Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego? Live." After a few years of scratching a living as a performer in the Twin Cities, Alaina enrolled in law school in hopes of becoming an entertainment attorney. Alaina turned to blogging as a way to cope after her disastrous first (and subsequently) last year of law school. During the Winter of 2002, Alaina created the first online resource for academically dismissed law students entitled: www.dismissedlawstudent.com. The response was overwhelmingly positive and soon after she created a blog to accompany the popular website.
