U R So 4 Me - I LOVE it!
author: Rick G
Found a pretty good review from Matthew Forss: "The spacious, guitar sounds and folksy percussion hold the melody line down without interruption. Electronic swishes and piano playing blends in with Alain’s vocals that are quite similar in tone to Low Millions"

U R So 4 ME, It's for me allright!
author: Jon
Wildy Haskell wrote this about you Alain and I think he's completely right "Alain Pernot’s “U R So 4 Me” contrasts the urgency of a modern R&B love song with the stripped down goodness of acoustic pop. The result is soulful, a bit jaded and eminently musical"

Excellent Songwriting & Musicianship -- Great Production -- Solid Album
author: Jack Jeffery
I bought this album completely on impulse, and I must say it delivers on a number of levels. There's a nice diversity of styles sprinkled among the tracks that I found quite interesting. But more importantly, the songwriting, musicianship, and production is simply first-rate.
From the outset, the track "Immobility" grabs the listener's attention. The Middle-Eastern feel along with the powerful vocals and guitar really works here.
All the tracks are good, but a few really stand out as outstanding.
"Communication" has a very catchy chorus with excellent vocals and guitar. This track simply rocks!
"Rollercoaster Ride" has an ELO feel to it -- particularly the chorus. I definitely hear a Jeff Lynne influence here.
"Inside You" is a beautiful acoustic ballad that contrasts nicely with the uptempo tracks. The acoustic guitar is brilliantly played and the woodwinds complement the song nicely.
After several good tracks, the album reaches what I consider to be its climax and arguably strongest track: "Better Today." The song builds on a pensive ballad with nice vocal harmonies, piano, electric guitar, and nice attention to dynamics. Everything works on this track! Reminded me of some of Alan Parsons' best dramatic closers that are, in a word, sublime.
My only quibble with the album -- and it's a minor one -- is its song order. I think the album would have finished much stronger with "Better Today" as the final track instead of the moody instrumental "Nightfall."
In any event, this is a solid album that clearly reflects Alain Pernot's excellent songwriting and musicianship.
Highly recommended.
