Alan Eicher's "Pyramid" is a testiment to the next generation of wonderful young jazz composer/pianists. Synergizing influences of the greats like Hancock, Corea and Evans, he culminates subtelties into a force and with an impressionists painter like-hand makes each track a stunning journey. If you are a jazz fan your ear and heart will enjoy this trip that Alan Eicher's talent gave so generously.
