Album Notes

These original songs are from an earlier time in my life and in my singing - also, an earlier time in music; Some 20 years ago, around 1990. Having faced a brush-off from some labels in the L.A. scene, I shelved these recordings. (Releasing them myself on the then-new CD medium was not an option). In this compilation, recorded over a 3-year span, the mixes and digital masters have remained untouched, and mostly unheard, as if to be songs in a bottle.

With fond recollections of Betty & Roger Oliver, I'd like to again thank Jay Oliver, a co-writer on some tunes, also the main player, programmer, co-producer & engineer. Thanks also to the other music makers who left their sound on many tracks in some of those late-night sessions: Scott Alspach, Scott Bryan, Ron Goff, Roger Guth, Bill Lenihan, Jim Mayer, Pete Mayer, Tom Roady, Kwamina Thaker & Dave Weckel.
