Album Notes

Alan Wasserman plays piano music ranging from classical to jazz to meditational, and loves sharing the musical experience with people. His unique style combines beautiful piano playing with amusing anecdotes of the lives and inspirations of history's greatest composers.

Alan has studied with major teachers in New York, New Jersey, London and Moscow. As Artistic Director of Rasa, the noted ensemble for contemporary music, he has appeared in the United States and abroad in numerous performances of his music and the music of other composers.

He is a past President of the Music Educators Association of New Jersey and the director of a music teachers' studio. As a 20 year participant of the Dorothy Taubman Institute of Piano Summer Sessions he has helped many pianists (and typists) that have become injured through inefficient finger and arm motions. His private piano students range from 5 year olds through octogenarians.
