Album Notes

The musical group Alarming Trends has a history that spans three decades. They played live gigs throughout the USA during the 1980s, recorded several film scores during the 1990s, and had a Number One song on MP3.com as late as 2001.

In addition to releasing numerous studio recordings, the Trends appeared at the top Colorado venues, including the Mercury Cafe, Herman's Hideaway, Boulder's Blue Note, as well as performing shows at Mabuhay Gardens in San Francisco and at legendary New York clubs CBGB and The Bitter End.

Alarming Trends' music videos have been shown on music programs across America, including "Teletunes," "Ground Zero Video," "Music Link" and MTV's "120 Minutes."

"The quartet plays dark, driving, at times menacing rock led by Ronnie Cramer's deep, growling guitar. It's music that hits you as hard in the head as it does in the gut. The star talent - and we do mean star - in the group is vocalist Rebecca Watson, who rattles off the words in that sultry but full-of-it tone that the Waitresses' Patty Donahue wielded so well. A band to watch." - College Music Journal

Good crunchy alt, Dick, I give it an 88.

Good for some heavy banging. "White Cross" kicks a little ass.
