Album Notes

This is a compilation of works that cross different genres. Luke McKern is a talented graduate of the Eastern Oregon University music program and plays Drums, Bass, Rhythm guitar and lead guitar. He is also a skilled sound tech and pro tools user and recorded and mixed down three of the songs. Jessie Borgerding lends her talented vocal to the album. She has been singing since she was five years old and is the daughter of a public schools music teacher. You will hear more from her in the years ahead because she is skilled and talented as well as a determined musician. Matthew Bell is a fourth year student at the University of New Orleans in their music program. He is a skilled arranger, composer, multi-instrument player, and show band leader. He is also this artists son. It is a sweet thing indeed to play with such an accomplished bunch of musicians and I am greatly blessed. Whether you feel these pieces are good bad or indifferent you have to admit the musicianship is pretty darn good. Al Bell is a writer who has been a sideman for Jimmy Lloyd Rea and the Switchmasters, High Street band, Yellah Dog Band, and with different artists as a studio muscian. His main instrument is the Harmonica but he also plays his own style of guitar and does vocal work.
