Album Notes
Albert Tarin lives in Valencia Spain and has contributed to the Spanish pop music in many ways, including, playingand arranging tunes for famous Spanish groups such as Mecano, Seguridad Social, Raimundo Amador and more. He has also joined "Jah Macetas" a pioneering reggae band from Spain, playing producing and arranging live shows as well as recording sessions including one at Coxsone's in Brooklyn NY in 1995, with Rafa Villalba and Jamaican reggae guitarist Steven Wright. Recently he has played live with Rita Marley and Carlos Santana!

Jazzin' Reggae presents a new approach to the fusion between jazz and reggae. Roots reggae drum and bass provides the ground work for the jazz music of great composers like Henry Manvini, George Gershwin, Cole Porter and many others. Alberto Tarin is on guitar supported by various jazz and reggae linked Valencian musicians. The guitar style flows naturally on every track flavored by a dub oriented treatment of the musical atmosphere, but never too far from the live sound of a jazz trio or a reggae band. Jazzin' Reggae grooves get together in an original fusion like never before, stepping forward to a modern sound!
