ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This album is officially SOLD OUT. But not to worry! It is available from any Digital Distribution center - iTunes, Rhapsody, Napster and all others. And - you won't have to wait for the delivery!

So, choose your favorite site and download "Shades And Shadows".

"Shades And Shadows" is the first release by Al Candello, the lead guitarist of New York based symphonic metal band ASPIRE. Although instrumental and self-recorded, this album undoubtedly shows the great potential of Al and reflects on future style of ASPIRE. And the music shows the same great quality that is becoming ASPIRE's trademark. The first track, "Fairy Tale" has reached #9 in MP3.com's chart of Progressive Metal, while "Carnival" trailed it only by two points. What differs this album from many other guitar releases is difference in styles - from speed metal to blues to classical arrangements to ballad, Al managed to put it all in one CD.

If you like power metal or progressive metal, check out this CD. And make sure you also listen to ASPIRE's "Quest Eternal" and "The Age Of Reckoning", where "Fairy Tale" has been re-released in a vocal version.

It's Great
Hey, this is the greatest indie CD i've heard. I wonder what Al is doing now. What about the next album, man? Keep it up!
