Album Notes

Not quite asleep, not quite awake...the dark ambient, gothic metal sounds of Alchemist Corpse Rite take you through the black mirror and into strange, exotic Aethyrs...

"A True and Faithful Relation" is music inspired by and created for a series of ritual workings in February, 2009. Deeply inspired by the Enochian magick of Elizabethan magus John Dee, the album incorporates a blend of ritual music, Encohian calls, etheric soundscapes, and powerfully dark goth guitars.

"Vision in Gold" and "Vision in Silver" welcome back the fabulous Laura Aalto, who again graces the project her lyrics and voice. These tracks provide a calming, peaceful balance against the dark, forceful beats of songs such as "Watchtower" and "The Black Mirror."

This album is a must for fans of '80s Leeds goth (Sisters of Mercy, Red Lorry Yellow Lorry), Ministry, and Dead Can Dance.
