Album Notes

Acoustic singer/songwriter Pat Aldrich teams up with Djembe and Hand Drum artist Mike Romasco in this (ironically) electrifying mix of sheer Post-Hardcore Rock and Hypnotic tribal beats, toss in a little shoegaze psychedelic along with melodic sing-along choruses for an all around listening experiment.

PAST: Pat Aldrich was touring locally with his acoustic music when he met up with long time friend and ally Mike "Mikey Fresh" Romasco. Mike talked about his numerous hand drums and the two decided it would be a fun experiment to put some percussion to Pat's current mix. Once the two got together, they began to write original songs for the project, seperate from Pat's original line up. They experimented with cover songs like Death Cab for Cutie's "Soul Meets Body" and numerous Shins songs. They played all the major clubs and coffee houses in Boston, Worcester, and Rhode Island - easily going from singer/songwriter showcases to opening punk and rock shows in the louder clubs. They won 2nd place at the Lizard Lounge in Cambridge but were unfortunately too banged up to take the prize...
