THE ARTIST

Evangelist Alesia Snipes Sanders is a native of Americus, Georgia. She was born to the parentage of the late Overseer Aaron Snipes, Sr. and Evangelist B. Snipes, founders of United Holiness Church, Inc. Both her life and ministry resonate with the effects of being a “Preacher ’s Kid ” as well as the traditional Holiness and Pentecostal environment in which she was raised. At the age of 12, she received Christ into her life and was filled with the Holy Spirit.

Sanders served as Minister of Music for 35 years in the church her parents founded and was also employed as its Outreach Ministry Administrative Assistant.She has been active in her church for many years as well as offering her services to many community, cultural and civic organizations in her community. In 2006, she was inspired by God to take a leap of faith and record her very first "LIVE" Praise & Worship CD. This being her sophomore project, she obeyed His voice and began this venture of Faith. On December 8, 2007, Thou Art My Praise CD was recorded live in the hometown of the artist (Americus, GA) before hundreds of awaiting supporters at the Historic Rylander Theatre. After much labor and finishing touches following the recording, the project was released to the public on September 8, 2008.

Alesia's mission and plans are to reach the masses for Christ through the ministry of the word and song as God opens doors of opportunity for her. Featured on the recording with her is Thou Art My Praise family: Expressions of Praise Ensemble (EOP), Davidic Praise Band-150 (DPB-150), Unity Choir of United Holiness Church, Evangelist B. Snipes, S & S Singers, Anthony J. Snipes and Wee Worshippers.
