About the Artist:
Alexandra leads weekly meditation groups at her healing center, The Healing Way, in Frederick, MD. She also teaches classes related to healing, metaphysics and spirituality and works with clients one on one providing services such as spiritual healing, energy work and intuitive readings. She has been working in the fields of healing, metaphysics, and spirituality since 1995. Prior to 1996, Alexandra worked for ten years in the fields of retroviral genetics and cancer immunotherapy. She holds a BA in Biology, a MS in Biomedical Science and a Certificate of Proficiency in Spanish from Hood College in Frederick, MD.

There is no more beautiful voice than Alexandra's. I listened to many, many guided meditation samples before finding Alexandra. I find that there are 3 components: The text, the vocal quality, and the vocal movement. The first one is pretty self-explanatory. Vocal quality is simply the sound of the person's voice; i.e., would this person be considered to have a beautiful voice even if s/he were reading the telephone book? Then there is what I call vocal movement. The ability to move the muscles that give shape to the sounds, the way a dancer might. It's the difference between just speaking and actually performing. Alexandra gets an 11 out of 10 on all three counts. I cannot rhapsodize enough about her ability.
