"This song was inspired at a time when I was doing a lot of sun-gazing, looking directly at the sun when it was rising or setting," says Alexa. "I was standing in a wide, open field, watching the sun going down and I felt strong golden energy flowing through my body and into the earth." "Gold of the Sun" was the first in a series of songs that Alexa received over a two year period. It was recorded in December 2006, along with four other songs, as a Christmas gift to friends and family. Having recently gained exposure through its use on a popular YouTube video about the aurora borealis, by David Lakota (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zoYiPul1WvI), it has been re-released to ALL of Alexa's loved ones.
