Album Notes

The new album from Israeli bass phenomenon, Alex Bershadsky promises more of Bershadsky’s own free-flowing compositions and astounding bass work. Based just a few miles outside of Tel Aviv, Alex is already making waves on the International music scene following accomplished performances as a sideman, composer and lyrical soloist. Hailed by Bass Guitar Magazine as a key player to watch this year, Anonymous presents a set of beautifully diverse and varied musical ideas that combine Alex’s esteemed technical prowess with melodic improvisations played over complex funk and R&B grooves.

“The first single from the album, ‘Ma’oz Tzur’, is a bass tour de force, combining lyrical melodic flourishes, harmonics and high-register chordal playing, overdubbed with a charged fretless solo” ?Nick Wells, Editor Bass Guitar Magazine

We had the pleasure to work with Alex on his Bio in 2007 - so we were familiar with his previous release, "Junk." Alex continues to impress, and is one of the best Jazz artists we've ever worked with. Alex and his team are true musical masters - and today that is rare! Alex has composed another gem - an amalgam and fusion of Jazz styles that are amazing! So, it's hard to follow-up on "Junk" - but Alex has - With Treasure! We seldom dish 5 stars!
