Pure Unadulterated Talent
I met Alex through a Facebook group of indie artists, and, as a rock fiction writer, was interested in the musicians who were a part of this collective. Admittedly, I am a classic rock fan above all other genres, but I am always open to new styles and artists. I listened to Alex's videos and other samples and found myself drawn to her rich voice and to her music. She has interested instruments thrown into her numbers at unexpected times- how many country artists do you know using rain sticks? Her melodies are strong and beautiful, and I am especially in love with the very moving "Song to a Soldier". Her album is upbeat, easy to sing along with, and I believe Alex is destined for greater things down the road. Do yourselves a bit favour and find out for yourselves what a charming CD this is!
