ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Singer/songwriter Alex Ryder began cultivating her
sound and working live. Like many other independent artists,
Alex has developed a large fan base, intrigued by her music,
her soul, her look and her energy. She is a black artist with a
groove all her own…walking the like between rock and Pop.

Her debut CD Won't You Listen was released in August 2011.
Co-written and recorded with Joe Turner and Carey Blackwell.
Alex’s CD release August 2011 was an incredible success.
The venue was packed with hundreds of her fans
who witnessed classic Alex Ryder, the rocker. Her extraordinary
stage presence is captured on her video release of
Won’t You Listen.

While nearing the end of the CD’s production, for the title
track Won’t You Listen, written by Robert W. Blackwell and
Carey Blackwell, Alex was offered the extraordinary opportunity
to work with renowned producers Adam and Alex
Anders at Chalice Studios in L.A. adding the final touches to the title
track “Won’t You Listen”.

Alex Ryder is currently touring with a 6 piece band promoting her CD and knocking the socks off audiences all over. Teamed up with well known musicians from the Ottawa area to make a winning combination of crowd pleasing, professional entertainment.

Keep Rock Alive!
