This is an old album, remastered.
As its name implies, Simple Songs was a collection of music that had not yet been recorded at the time (1993).
Despite the fact that I used a DAT machine to record most of it (so it is not very multi-tracked--the DAT was bounced to a VCR for overdubbing!), it is such a big difference from the songs I record to today that it is quite refreshing to hear.
These are primarily folks songs written around my first couple years of college.
Though some of tracks have the noise from the room in them or a squeaky chair every now and then, they still were pretty well done, harmony-wise, and are some of my personal favorites.
Take a listen. See what you think. A couple people have told me his is their favorite CD.
