A Nice, rural-sounding, calming set of world-music tunes by Durham composer Alex Weiss who is joined by some of the members of his band and special guests artists, most notably, two Nigerians who were so happy to hear one of their songs from their homeland being performed by the group one day at a concert, they joined in and were then invited to sing on the CD. Beautiful Melody sounds unpretentiously like music produced from a well traveled soul.
