Alex Yacovelli is a Rock/Pop Singer-Songwriter (and Actor). He's originally from Pleasantville, NY and recently graduated from the NYU Vocal Performance Program.

Alex has gigged at Sullivan Hall NYC, The National Underground, Starbucks on West 4th, Ultraviolet Live (hosted by Perez Hilton), and Madison Square Garden with Weezer (as part of their Hootenanny Band).

On Saturday, July 11th, he will appear at The Pleasantville Music Festival '09, sponsored by Westchester Radio's 107.1 The Peak. 12 NOON, Village Stage. www.pleasantvillemusicfestival.com


Sweet Nimbus Nothings [EP], Alex's premiere acoustic album, was recorded at Pacific Street POP (Brooklyn, NY) with Producer M.G. Espar. It utilizes "world-like" hand percussion versus a traditional drum kit!
