ABOUT THIS ALBUM


Album Notes
Al Firestone has been working as a musician for his entire adult life (and some of high school too!). He has played in several secular pop, rock and wedding bands and still plays a few of those gigs each year. Now his focus is mainly on Christian music, as he leads contemporary worship services at his church.

Boulder Faith is a ten-lesson Bible Study by Pastor Paul N. Arnold and Al Firestone based on the life of the Apostle Peter. This CD contains the ten original songs written by Al Firestone to accompany the Bible study. ("I Will Follow You" has new verse lyrics for the Bible Study.) The names and texts of the lessons are included in the CD booklet to show the context of the song lyrics.

Because there are many different genres of song represented here, this CD was very difficult to categorize. If you listen to the song cliips, you will see that this is very true.

A stirring cd of a faith journey using surprisingly different styles of music
The cd is a great collection of different musical styles and tempos that inspires the listener to connect wtih God. Al Firestone has written all the music that chronicles the life of Peter as he followed Jesus. The music touches so many emotions that you respond on some deep and surprising levels. The musical journey of listening to this cd reminds me of going to a musical that tells a wonderful story through song. If you love all types of music and want to be encouraged in your faith, this cd is well worth your time and money.
