Album Notes

THE ALIBI
Aggressive Rock & Roll- with a twist of Punk

Joey Fenton, Guitar
Shane Fenton, Vocals
Matt Geinitz, Bass
Scottie Claudel, Drums

The Alibi began in the winter of 2001 and have evolved into a prepared, professional, High Energy, Rock Band with one of the most creative and original styles you will find in music today. The unique vocal style of Shane compliment the subversive guitar techniques of Joey, while the amazing rhythm section of Geinitz and Claudel keep it all together to create a style that cannot be put into words. This dynamic chemistry is well documented on The Alibi’s May 2003 release “Now You Have One”. With a High-energy live show that is an absolute must see and “Now You Have One” in their back pocket, The Alibi has successfully created a Buzz on the Hollywood music scene. Building on this momentum The Alibi has begun a College radio promotion and a specialty Rock radio promotion, which will have their album spinning on hundreds of radio stations, including a live showcase on K.X.L.U. in Los Angeles. The Band also has several cuts from “Now you have one” being played on MTV’s “Sorority Life/Fraternity Life.” Combined with the local support in L.A. and the broad range of college and Rock stations playing their music, expect The Alibi’s momentum to only grow in the months to come!!!!!!!

Great disc with a twist

Okay, so my subject header sounds like a cheap Pepsi ad, but it is a good way to describe the disc. I saw these guys live at the Viper Room in December 2003 and immediately knew I had to get their CD. Their live show was amazing, but was my drunk stupor responsible for my affection for their music? (hell, I thought Creed was good after 10.. well 20.. okay THIRTY beers).. The answer was no because after listening to the CD, my affection for the disc was confirmed. Most songs deliver the same punch that was received at show. Woe2Me is a standout track on the disc combining the intensity of a hard punk band with a unique flavour (sorry I'm Canadian.. that's how we spell it here) that only this band possesses. Some songs are slower, but most maintain the same intensity that propels this band above other slow-song writers. Keep up the good work guys! Mike (from Winnipeg, Canada) msloan88-at-yahoo.com
