This is Alibrandi's third full-length album. Two tracks on the record (one being the title cut) are written by Nashville's Eben Youtsey.

Alibrandi makes her living playing music. It's what she knows; it's what she loves. The Guitar in the Corner is thought by many to be her best recorded work to date. Joining Alibrandi on this project are internationally-renowned guitarist Artie Lenin, Syracuse Symphony Orchestra's Karen E. Veverka on violin, Gretchen Horvath on cello, and Ron Keck on percussion.
