Album Notes

"A voice that could stop wars” one listener claimed. While it’s yet to be proven, there’s no doubt this girl’s got soul. Prepare your senses for gorgeous melodies, engaging lyrics and a performance with plenty of heart.

Alice’s debut album ‘Your World’ is out now and copies are selling like hotcakes. After a wonderful year of crafting this album together alongside a bunch of very talented musicians [including Mercury Music Award nominee Nick Mulvey (Portico Quartet)], the end result is a joyful burst, a celebration of life, guaranteed to put a big goofy grin on your face. Alice is now sharing her time with the much loved charity “Teenage Cancer Trust” and showcasing her brand new album at a variety of venues and stages across the South Of England throughout 2009.

With a stage presence that can charm the birds from the trees, and coax groupies from dark corners. Tickets sold out within a matter of days to the launch party of Alice’s album launch held in a secret chapel in Soho, London at the end of last year. She is currently booking in a summer of gigs and has an exciting line up around the UK including a performance at the beautiful Walton Castle in Somerset, and the Bunbury’s celebrity Cricket match in Cambridge.

More recently she is working with the designer of Nizlopi’s legendary animation video’s ‘Start Beginning,’ and ‘Love Is’. They are creating a new music video to illustrate her limited editon EP title track ‘Yellow Car,’ released at Larmer Tree Festival in 2008. This video will be released in April 2009.

Stick this record on and you can’t resist the feeling the world’s a pretty great place after all. Go on, feed your soul.
