Album Notes

Shaun Sanders, the brains behind Alien Love God (if there are any), was born in New Zealand in 1960.

His parents force fed him a diet of corny musicals and cool jazz.

His siblings battered his delicate little ears with Deep Purple and T. Rex.

All by himself he discovered Steely Dan.

Possessing an unorthodox social conscience, Shaun finds it his duty to write songs about everyday real life.

Real life stories about doggies... and ponies... and the red light district of Amsterdam.

And snake handling cults of the Mid-West.

And "Swallow"? That's a song about a little birdie.

Riiiiiight.

You can find out eight reasons whether to stay or go when trying to make it with your favourite whore/obsession and wondering if you'll even make it to first base.

Wierd cover art, huh?

very sexy voice who has an unusual twist of play on words.

This is an outstanding CD that captures your senses and thoughts about life in general. The artist really plays with his words to inspire to one's own sexuality and love life. Every song has it's own unique sound which never bores the listener and keeps it's simplicity to allow the catchiness of it to rub off. Strong melodies and hooks. Plus, the singers voice is so sexy that it's good "sex" music and makes one want to gyrate their hips.
