Album Notes

I'm the former front man and main songwriter for the award winning reggae group Blunt Head Trauma (BHT). I have been living in the western part of North Carolina for the past 15 years. The music is a wealth in this area. I have jammed the festival scene and venues in the Asheville area for the past 8 or so years. Some of these festivals include French Broad River, Belle Chare, Flat Rock Music Festival and a lot of venues as well. I was also nominated for songwriter of the year at 2006 Flat Rock Music Festivals Song Writer Competition. Along the way I have had the privilege of playing with a number of exceptional musicians and even shared stages with some stars. As for my lyrics, I like to write about standard day-to-day things that everyone can relate to. Positive messages and thought provoking ideas are what I'm going for. The songs on Knock ‘em Dread have been kicked around for the past six years and deserve to be shared with some other people. Music is a big journey for any musician and this is where I’m at right now in mine. I hope you feel it like I do.
