ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"Lovestruck" is Alisa Boniello's debut EP. The songs deal with all the various stages of love and relationships, from feeling butterflies and falling in love, facing the challenges of staying in love, and surviving the pain and hurt of falling out of love. Alisa collaborated with Grammy Award winning songwriter/ producer Barry Eastmond, (Whitney Houston, Britney Spears, Anita Baker) on co-writing four songs, “Lovestruck,” a retro-soul/pop ditty, “(When Will) Love Feel Real,” an upbeat love saga, the whimsical ballad, “Why,” and the pulsating and edgy “That Kind Of Girl,” co-written and co-produced by Wendell Hanes, (Mya, Cheri Dennis) and Dan Kramer. Hanes also played keyboards and synth programming on the track. Eastmond produced the other (3) songs exclusively, and also played keyboards and provided programming on the same tracks he produced. The EP was recorded in Tarrytown, NY. Eastmond also engineered and mixed the EP, and noted mastering engineer Arnold Mischkulnig mastered the project. The EP also features lead guitar by Ira Siegal on the first, third, and last track. Ramon Hervey II served as Executive Producer of the EP.

“I’m just discovering who I am as an artist,” admitted Boniello, “but I’m hoping these songs will give people a chance to feel the joy that I felt in writing and recording them.”

Great EP! I really enjoy it!
This Is an amazing EP! My only problem with it is that it leaves me wanting more! Alisa has a beautiful voice with plenty of soul!
