Since the days of NWA, Too Short, Rakim, Kool G Rap, Nas and others, Jay Alsandor a.k.a. ALKOHOL, has set a goal to become a major playa in the hip-hop industry. With the shine back on the Bay Area rap scene from the recent “Hyphy” movement, this 20 something year old native of San Francisco, California has set out to bring respectability back to the Bay on a major scale.

Jay began as a DJ then started rhymin’ at the age of 16. While he exhibited a knack for creative, cutting edge lyrical skillz, Jay learned to make beats with the “Hieroglyphics” producer, Domino from Oakland, California.

Fast forward to the year 2006 and ALKOHOL is poised to make some noise in the industry with his debut single entitled, “Purple Trees.” Scheduled for release in August 2006, Illegal Entertainment has teamed with producer/engineer Herb Partlow and Superb Muzic Productions to drop this hot new product. The style is very marketable and will provide something totally original, cutting edge and professionally produced. Watch out for ALKOHOL!
