Album Notes

This is the first solo effort from Canadian musician Al Langlade singer/song writer from the group Total Stranger. Total Stranger released two albums in Europe and Japan, the self titled debut and "Obsession". Al also appears on Ian Crichton's(Saga guitarist)"Ghetto By Design"as singer/co-writer and later on the Any Day Now project entitled "Millennium" with Stuart Zualtz of Wall Of Silence and The Works. Al also appears on the drummer from Saga (Steve Negus) solo album ``Dare to Dream``as the lead vocalist and co-writer. Al is the vocalist heard on the funeral song "Living Without You".

This album Sad Lullabies features 12 moody, melodic, modern AOR tunes high-lighted by some very nice vocal performances from this mature veteran of the AOR sound. The songs are infectious, the hooks are evident and the cd is well recorded. If you are a fan of AOR, you won't be disappointed with this CD.

Al has recently finished a second solo album ``Air Over Water``under the the name ``Langlade`` available on iTunes and at CD Baby.

Perfect driving music for me. Solid vocals and overall musicianship. Little things like the EBO on the acoustic dobro, the cello and the fretless bass playing give the cd sound that special flavour.
