ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Inspired by H.P.Lovecraft's legendary work, this new third album in Allicorn's series of HPL soundtracks will carry you off into the frozen wastes of Antarctica.

It's a tale of early explorers, terrifying remoteness and of unspeakable strangeness discovered in the lost mountains of the forbidding, barren continent.

Allicorn's score follows the Miskatonic University Expedition of 1930-31; a journey across the south seas, under the eerie aurora and into a land of howling emptiness and bizarre discoveries under the millennial ice. Through horror and desperation, upwards into the towering, witchlike peaks to secrets timeless and unimagined. Then finally to delve into forgotten, crystal gulfs of time and return, perhaps, though changed.
