World Groove is the founding ideal of Alliens. You won't walk away from an Alliens show without hearing Reggae, Funk, Ska, Cumbia, Salsa and Island Grooves being bounced around inspired lyrics and powerful harmonies.

A Cross-cultural appreciation is rooted deep in their souls from growing and living in foreign lands.
At the core of all the styles they incorporate is one common ideal, dance!

The band line up is a family affair at heart, the founders of the band being two brothers (Jamiel and Janiah) and a cousin (Zeph). Standing with them on stage are Cameron McLaughlin on the Bass Guitar, and Owen Aschoff on the congas and percussion. Both of whom bring their own varied styles and tastes to the mix to help round out the World Groove experience.

These artists immersed and committed themselves to different styles of music and incorporate their varying tastes and love of expression in all their music. Reggae with Rock, Funk with Ska, Caribbean Jam with Hip-Hop, Island Grooves with Latin. Electronica Drum-Breaks with Cumbia Dance Beats. and still more!

Their secret is not to force these styles to mix, but to let them blend together to create a new world rhythm based experience they call World Groove.
