This exciting jazz ensemble, the All-Star SUPERband, features many of Milwaukee’s hottest instrumentalists. Performing a variety of selections, this tight ensemble phrases well and stays in tune.
Kaye Berigan, Bunny Berigan’s nephew, plays trumpet on two tunes. Guy Kammerer plays the “Maynard” trumpet solo on Mac Arthur Park. Saxophonists, Warren Wiegratz, Jason Gillette, Jason Goldsmith and Mike Pauers are also featured.

This historic performance was recorded on Joe Aaron’s 89th birthday. Joe has been a major clarinet/saxophone teacher and performer in Milwaukee for 70 years. Joe is featured playing clarinet on one track. Also featured on two tracks is the suburb vocalist, Diedre Fellner.

The SUPERband has performed on Thursdays in Milwaukee for 10 years. Winner of the 2004 and 2008 WAMI (Wisconsin Area Music Industry) for best swing band, this group plays all the standards and originals as well.
