\"A Place in the Heart\" is all instrumental featuring fiddle, mandolin, guitar and hammered dulcimer. Well known Scottish Dance instructor and pianist, Muriel Johnstone, after hearing us play at the 2008 Northwest Folk Life Festival, had this to say about our new CD:

TANYA LAWSON
Fiddler, mandolin, and solo guitar for All Strings Considered. Tanya teaches violin, viola, mandolin, and guitar at the Wood’s House Conservatory of Music in Wenatchee, Washington. She studied music at the Buenos Aires Conservatory of Music and Portland State University and has been performing and teaching for over twenty five years.
She has toured and performed in England, Wales, Holland and Belgium, performing with The Continental Singers and Orchestra, The Buenos Aires Provincial Orchestra, and El Coro de Haedo overseas. She has also toured a good portion of the United States and has played with numerous groups, both of the classical genre, as well as Celtic and Rock, including but not limited to the Southwest Washington Symphony, Wenatchee Valley Symphony, The Michael Dickes Band, and Lynette Westendorf on the River of Memory Project. Tanya has played for weddings at almost every winery in the local area with her classical pianist Patsy Ford. She has played for commercials and demo CD’s, and has been the musician for North Central Washington’s Playback Theatre and a long time musician for Music Theater of Wenatchee. She and her students have also been guest performers at the Lake Chelan Bach Feste.
All Strings Considered was formed in 2006.
“Connie, Sherry, and I just got together to relax and play some tunes together, and decided we really liked the sound. We were trying to count up all the strings on all the instruments we play. The number was too big, so we decided on All Strings Considered. A little tribute to a radio show we grew up listening to; All Things Considered”.

Weddings, Holiday Events, Festival of Trees, Fine Dining Events, Grand Openings, church services,and funerals. Their favorite place to play is Caffe Mela in Wenatchee, Washington and Northwest Folklife in Seattle Washington. The title track of their album, \"A Place in the Heart\", has proved to be a wonderful wedding tune.
SHERRY KREBS
Although majoring in Physical Education at Whitworth University, Sherry has always loved music. Sherry has played recorders with The Goode Company Consort, took up percussion and is currently the principal timpanist for the Wenatchee Valley Symphony and Lake Chelan Bach Fest. Over the years, she has been hired to play in various Brass Bands including the Maple Leaf Brass Band of Ottawa, Ontario, where she played three seasons at the Halifax International Tattoo and two Scottish Festivals at Loon Mountain in New Hampshire.
Sherry is currently in her twentieth year as a music specialist at Lincoln Elementary in the Wenatchee School District. She has received several local, regional and state awards for her innovative teaching and excellence in education and in 1996, received a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Lesley University. In the fall of 2007, Sherry received the Stanley Lifetime Achievement Award for a life time of dedication to the arts in the community. Sherry hopes that there is still a lot of “Lifetime” left, as she is enjoying the opportunity to play guitar with two good friends in All Strings Considered.
When not playing music, Sherry enjoys quilting, kayaking, reading mysteries and Scottish Country Danicing. Sherry also is involved with Music Theater, conducting many of the pit orchestras as well as playing and sometimes acting.
CONNIE CELUSTKA
Connie began playing hammered dulcimer at the Folk Music Center in Claremont, California. She later worked for Dusty Strings Hammered Dulcimer Company in Seattle and recorded with Esther John and Heart. She currently teaches piano and dulcimer at the Wood’s House Conservatory of Music and Valley Academy, both in Wenatchee.
Connie completed studies in piano, clarinet and classical guitar at the University of Puget Sound and finished a Master’s Degree in Religion at the Claremont School of Theology. Playing dulcimer with All strings Considered has been a delight and the mix of instruments and personalities is bright and fun.
