All The Ghosts is a band from New York City, Brooklyn to be exact. And unlike all of their boring contemporaries, they don't play garage rock! Instead, they use everything imaginable (sequences, samples, keyboards, drum machines, guitars, vocals, bass, melodica, and percussion) to create lush and inspiring waves of rock and roll sound.
Though based out of Brooklyn, All The Ghosts represents nationwide with members hailing from New York, New Jersey, Chicago and some deep dank swamp in rural southern Florida where people eat gators and marry their children. These four individuals create a sound that wraps anthems, psychedelia, electronica, space, glam, gospel, indie and arena rock into beautiful packages.
Their songs touch on every emotion, but no matter how disparate, there is an undeniable cohesion to their sound and as anyone who's witnessed their live show will attest to, the performance is tight, inspiring, and over-the-top. Beware of gyrating, oil, make-out sessions, fisticuffs and flying tambourines.
All The Ghosts is now. It's happening, it has life, and there will be no denying.

wow, i cant believe a single this good isn't getting more attention.

i stumbled across all the ghosts while browsing around cdbaby. the cover looked really cool, so i decided to "play all songs" and immediately i got hooked. i sat there and listened to the whole single at my computer, and every song kept getting better. i highly recommend this. cant wait to hear what they do next.

Man, this cd is really actually. . good!

I was writing reviews for epinions.com for a long time, but decided I would rather increase my record collection, while reviewing things I actually cared about, like music.
So here it comes, another Cd in my P.O. Box, with a note attatched to the cd inside.
"If you like this CD, review it on cdbaby, if you don't like it , well forget it."
This alone was enough to make me say- what the. . So I listened to it, then listened to it again.
I don't even know what to say. For an indie band from NYC to release material like this, and for them to go to SEMAPHORE RECORDING in chicago to record it, I have to say, they've got the right idea. With fervor, I am happy to say this record gave it to me where I needed it.
