Andy Miller is a veteran of the touring & recording blues act Blinddog Smokin', grew up playing guitar and mandolin with family and friends in Wyoming. He also builds acoustic instruments, including the octave mandolin he plays.

This Is It
author: Farmer Ted
On their sophomore effort the Alltunators have really flexed their muscle and put out the best traditional music in a long time. They draw from a lot of different backgrounds to make a CD that is cohesive without getting homogenous. A lot of traditional music these days gets bogged down in weary ballads or tired remakes of remakes. This CD has the stamp of it's roots but adds colors and even some soul to the numbers. It is one of the few in this genre that sound as good in your car bombing down the road as it does on your home stereo. If you like traditional music but are getting tired of rehashes or lifeless musings, you need this CD.
