Album Notes
Local band and two-time Omaha Entertainment and Arts Awards winners All Young Girls Are Machine Guns will celebrate their first full-band album, the highly anticipated follow-up to the band’s 2010 solo release, “The Secret Attic Recordings.”

This time around, singer-songwriter and ukulelist Rebecca Lowry is joined by Travis Sing on ukulele bass, Scott “Zip” Zimmerman on drums and Kaitlyn Maria Filippini on violin. “All Young Girls Are Machine Guns” is a combination of full-band versions of select songs from the previous album and a slew of newer songs. Bittersweet and sentimental, the album is chock full of their self-ascribed brand of “Sophistipop.”
