ABRIENDO PUERTAS is Almirante's second CD release but his first on PIONEER RECORDS. This album was long awaited and finally it is here - Spanish Reggae at its best. The album contains 20 songs with several styles- Reggae, Dancehall, R&B, Culture, Latin Hip Hop, and European dance rhythm, combined with Almirante's silky smooth voice-over, exciting and warm melodies he will have you falling in love while dancing at the same time, He is a cross between Beanie Man and Marc Anthony and everything in between. ABRIENDO PUERTAS which means "Opening Doors", is an opening to Almirante's heart and his stories about love. A topic that is familiar to the world. He has traveled to several countries like Colombia, Haiti, Costa Rica, Honduras, and the United States, introducing them to Panama's Spanish Reggae and was also influenced by their music. On this CD there is a fusion of all of that and the ending result is Almirante expressing and opening himself to his fans in a new way. The CD contains production by Panama's Predicador and Calito Mix, and other producers as Ben G Music, Julius Cesar, Angel "Speed"Colon, Triple A, Andrew Price, and Kirth "Da One" Atkins. These producers delivered hot tracks that will Surly tear the clubs up. The CD also features appearances by his label mate and fellow Panamanian KING BLAK who also is on PIONEER RECORDS, Almirante hopes to break new ground with his second release ABRIENDO PUERTAS.
