"April Aloisio's Easy to Love is a lovely, softly swinging affair. Her voice glides over the melodies, like a sea bird skimming above a wave."
Her crystalline soprano voice moves further into interpretations of various forms of music, this time including popular composers as diverse as Antontio Carlos Jobim and Horace Silver.
In the last several years a new maturity has been achieved in the "April Aloisio" sound. Her approach is to interpret a song gently and weave it into her world of light and beauty.
Along with Chicago musicians Fareed Haque, Dave Onderdonk, Steve Million and brother Gerard, April reinterprets songs from Loggins and Messina to the Byrds and Patrice Rushen,
concluding with the Stevie Wonder classic "Another Star."
"Aloisio's interpretations are virtually flawless. Whether backed by gentle guitarists or swinging with saxman Von Freeman, Aloisio is never short of excellent here."

Oh man - if this isn't sexy, I don't know what is! A delicate sultry soprano voice over an exotic and exquisite mix of classic jazz, Brazilian, and Latin songs. Think "Girl from Ipanema". Think a bottle of wine in front of the fireplace, phone off the hook....
