Alsoran is a whimsical race horse from Alsoranland. Born in the shadow of a race track, he has been described as quirky. Well actually he wasn't born a race horse...or a horse for that matter. But he began dressing like one around the age of 6 or so...and somewhere along the line began thinking like one. He thinks anyway.

The CD Ultran 2006: 2 Disc Set includes 47 tracks ---nearly every song Alsoran has recorded and ranges in style from garage, funxcore and indie to slacker pop...whatever any of those mean. Basically he makes "the wow."

He recorded and performed most of the songs himself but there are also many guest musicians. A brand new song called "Head Smashed In (the smilemaker)" that he wrote with Mr. Fusion appears on this CD and it doesn't appear anywhere else. It also includes tracks from the very limited CD release (The amazing alsoran acrobatic duo and traveling indie rock puppet show).

Alsoran performs near race tracks and surrounding areas. But this was not always so and these songs come from those early days when Alsoran was wild and free and would run and play anywhere.

Alsoran marshmallows you. Alsoran writes bios about himself in 3rd person. He is writing this now.

At its CD release show, Ultran vol. 1 sold only 2 copies and there was no actual CD release for the 2 disc Volume 1 & 2 set. This is a real rairity and won't be around in CD form for very long. But the real rairities are the songs, which are pretty swell and have some great tunes and lyics---maybe better than you've ever heard...maybe.

i could just write the lyrics to every song but I won't...because then you would know the words without being able to sing along.
