Album Notes

We Can Make The World Stop is a collection of some of Alun Parry's best songs yet – lyrically strong, forthright, painfully honest, and each with its own powerful message.

It is Alun's first release in two years, following on from the success of Corridors of Stone and Liverpool 800.

Nonetheless it has been a busy two years.

In that time Alun has set up non league football club AFC Liverpool, established and organised the Liverpool Working Class Music Festival, supported Billy Bragg, played to workers occupying a factory in Belfast, and performed a rollicking gig at Walton Prison.

It has given plenty of inspiration for this twelve track offering.

Alun said:

“The album is packed with stories that have something to say about our world, and reaffirms our power to make a change."
