Alva is an Irish, Dublin-based contemporary gospel singer. She was born in Sligo and spent her first few years living in Dublin before moving with her family to Hong Kong. There she made her first professional recording at the age of 11 when she recorded two albums to help Chinese children learn English through song.
Alva has been singing since the tender age of five in school, church and theatre. Over the years she has enjoyed singing and acting in a variety of musicals, shows and plays.
Alva's powerful voice delivers inspirational and gospel music guaranteed to move the heart and soul. Her vast vocal range and penetrating gospel voice always leaves her audience wanting more!
Over the last 15 years Alva has performed folk, soul, blues and broadway. She discovered Gospel music in more recent years and is at her happiest singing uplifting and emotional songs.
