Album Notes

Silver Waters neoclassical piano solos published 2009 .

Alvin Lloyd Masters recorded Silver Waters in 1988 in both
Atlanta, Georgia and also San Francisco , California.

It is being released for the first time in 2009 on compact
disc with Blue Jay Music.

It was very much influenced
by the music of George Winston whose music made a great
impression on the composer in the early 1980s.

In fact , half the tracks were produced by Howard Johnston
at the legendary Different Fur Recording Studios where
George Winston recorded December and many of his best albums.
Other early influences in this music were Richard Clayderman,
Fresh Aire and the French music of Erik Satie.

Neoclassical for the most part, the music is charming , well produced and very enjoyable
to listen too. There is some use of classical titles,
eg. Animato, Sonata, etc. and classical forms. Folk sounding at times as well.

Around 30 minutes in length and twelve tracks.

A fascinating glimpse of some the composer's earliest works
created while experiencing life challenges.

This music is early in the career of the composer and is listed as bjm 002 , Blue Jay Music.
