Album Notes

Thanks for checking out my music!

This album is dedicated to my father, Al Walsh Sr., who died in 1998 from cancer. He was the one who inspired me to pursue music, a great tenor that loved to sing. From his college days at Georgetown, singing with the Chimes to his later gigs with the Baltimore Barber Shop Quartet and finally as the cantor at his church. I'll always be indebted to him for the talents I inherited from him.

Life after the Pat McGee Band has been wonderfully busy with my wife Karen (the greatest gift I could ever wish for) and settling down in my hometown of Baltimore. We have just completed our recording studio and guitar academy "Epiphany", and look forward to getting back to making music. Keep a lookout for my new CDs both secular and praise and worship.

Finally I hope my music translates into something you can wrap your heart around. Let me know.

Thanks, Al

Great CD! Great voice! Great talent!

He has a smooth, clean, wonderful voice. A JT sound but better. The CD has it all from upbeat- Mountain time and I'll be gone but I'll be back- to laid back, heart- felt -- Joe and Kiss in the morning. But what I really love is that you can listen to the entire CD without skipping any, and it never gets old. Also, if you like the CD, he is even better live, in an acoustic set. Do yourself a favor and see him live!

I hear James and Livingston Taylor in Al's voice and style but there is something new and fresh as well. What a nice album to relax with!

Great old style melodies. I would love to hear just a song with acoustic guitar vocals.
