I attended the CD Release Party for "I Talk Country"
author: David
I recently attended ( in fact last Saturday, April 1st, 2006) the CD Release Party in Milton, Ontario, for the new full length CD I Talk Country, and I bought a copy of the CD as well. This is one great CD, and if you truly love country music as I do, and you enjoyed her first CD, dont miss this one! A combination of great country ballads, rock, and toe tapping music. It is fantastic! a great voice and again, a combination of great musicians. Her backup band are wonderful, the fiddle player outstanding, and when I listened to the very end of the CD, I could not help but laugh!. If you have the first CD, dont miss the new one. I am a fan of this lady!

Solid debut CD -- Chevy song is a classic!
author: Jake Braddock
As a young artist's debut record, this CD is solid. The songs are high energy and upbeat, which is how I like my country music. The title track, Nuthin' but a Chevy, is the best song on the record. My second favorite track is This Time. But really, they're all pretty good. Alysha Brooke has a lot of power in her voice and the album kicks some butt! If you like energetic country, you'll likely like this CD.
