With passion for life and the desire to sing about it, Amanda Martindale packed her bags, turned west on I-40 and never looked back. Arriving in Los Angeles with a guitar and a dream Amanda settled in and started writing. Playing shows and shaping her craft she steadily gained fans and a demand for an album.
After weeding through her collection of songs Amanda was ready for pre-production. Six months later the Road to Beautiful was ready to be recorded. Emptying out her savings Amanda booked seven days at Entourage Studios. With the help of very talented friends, the ambitious task of recording twelve songs was completed and sounded as honest and as veritable as she is.
"Road to Beautiful is a collection of songs that reflect my journey of finding the balance of who I am becoming and who I used to be." Amanda also states that her intentions with the album was to be recorded live in a big studio... with the musicians in a semi circle feeding off each other making the songs what they are at that moment. ..."To me that was the most rewarding experience and I am excited to share it with the world."
