This record marks the first ever album completely written, played AND produced by Kevin at SkinnyRockStar Studios. It is an interpersonal journey and is based mostly on the acoustic guitar - some songs are acoustic in nature, some fully instrumented. "Standards" features songs such as: ~ "A Place that is Everywhere" - a song he wrote for his good friend Ed who passed away several years ago, ~ "May Thirteen" - the song he wrote and performed as best man at his brother's wedding ~ "The Bridge Builder" - a song written from a poem that his father read at his Grandfather's funeral ~ "Our Song" - the song he and and his wife Josy performed at their wedding (And yes..Josy does sing on a couple tunes as well)
