"I never miss a chance to see Amauta. You'll be amazed at the variety of instruments, ancient and modern, that Amauta plays. They skillfully and joyfully blend sounds of the Incan ancestors with modern rhythms of Latin America to present an exciting and lively show. I always have fun seeing Amauta perform, and I enjoy being part of an audience that comes alive as they play." June Ireland

Loved it!
Rhytmic, upbeat, inspiring music, unusual sounds-Can play it over and over and never tire of it. Changes in beat and instruments keep you listening. I highly recommend it.

En el Tiempo
I liked this album. But not quite up to their hauntingly beautiful albums, Andean Fussions and Sentimiento Andino.

I heard them play in Albuquerque, intriguing because they covered American music with Latin American instruments. This CD, matching the instruments to traditional songs far exceeds that experience. Close your eyes and you'll be transported to a plaza in Ecuador.

This is a great easy listening background music album. It is soothing and sometimes haunting.
